SUNDAY, August 25
Top acts take over three stages at the scenic Crescent Park for this year’s Rhode Island Folk Festival, a full day of music, along with food trucks, a songwriting workshop with Mark Cutler, kids’ activities, and more. 12-6pm, Riverside
It’s Take Me Fishing Day at the Kelly House Barn, where young anglers can catch some fish, learn about the river, and earn a badge with the help of Park Rangers. Fishing materials and bait are provided. 1-4pm, Lincoln
